Farscape Gone and Back #3

Third issue of Farscape: Gone and Back is completed.

Next up on my list is to finish Vampirella and waiting for more pages to roll in on X-Men Forever, Die Hard, and Irredeemable. Staying caught-up considering I'm juggling several books PLUS trying to move.

Unthinkable #5

If you follow my blog daily, it'll look like I'm slackin', but I'm not. I've been working on several books here and there, a page here, a few pages there, etc.

One of the books I've just completed is the last issue of Unthinkable. I enjoyed this title a lot! Mark Sable weaved a very interesting tale indeed. Hoping he dug my work on his work enough to ask for me on his next book whether it be at Boom, DC or Marvel.

Speaking of Marvel, looks like I'm picking up more titles there with X-Men Forever being the most recent; which I'm happy about because I'm working over Steve Scott's art. Can't wait to see it colored!

Farscape #1

Farscape gets it's own regular monthly series starting in November. I just finished lettering this issue. It was a trip working on this since it's slated to come out after the current mini-series: "Gone and Back" (which I have half finished). But some elements from that mini-series get brought up in this issue so any surprises are ruined for me!

Anyways, pretty productive week working on several different titles all week. More next week!

X-Men Forever #7

This was a great issue to letter! It had all the cool X-Men characters I grew up reading, plus some other cool things like Nick Fury, and most of all -- and I just found this out since I didn't get to do a credits box -- it's illustrated by Steve Scott. I worked with Steve on one of the BloodRayne books I published a couple years back. Man, small world.

Farscape D'Argo's Trial #2

Very productive week for me. Just finished D'argo #2.

Just waiting on some new pages from Luke McBain #1. Also picked up a new Marvel gig; X-Men Forever, which I should start today. Wanted to go mow my lawn, but it's hot as hell outside.

28 Days Later #3

Got home tonight (Wednesday) and there was a voicemail telling me the art for this issue was now on the server. The voicemail also mentions the issue had to be lettered by tomorrow. Nice. One day turn-a-round. I haven't done one of those in ages. So 3 hours later, I'm uploading a mock-up of the whole issue... lettered.

I'm taking the next day off. Gonna go to the zoo or something.

Irredeemable #6

Two number sixes in a row. That's gonna stand for something. Don't know what.

Next up is finishing Dargo's Trial #2 and hopefully I can start on Fist of Justice #6, which is the last issue of the series being distributed through Diamond. We just can't seem to get our sales up on that particular title so we'll be doing the digital comics route (iPhone and print on demand).

Prototype #6

The last issue of Prototype has been lettered and waiting for the final word. As always in this biz, when you finish a mini-series, you get another one to replace it and I'm extremely happy to be working on the next title. It's another comic based on a video game property. Something huge. Something I think I'm gonna have a lot of fun with!

Die Hard #1

Die Hard is one of my favorite movies. Even the sequels are decent. But that wasn't the only reason I wanted to letter this series, it's because of Howard Chaykin. I loved his American Flagg series, even DC's The Shadow, and basically everything else he worked on.

Just picked up a new book with 12 Gauge Studios thanks to my buddy Kody. Whipping through the first half of the book tonight so I can tackle the last issue of Prototype in the morning.

Hulk Team-Up #1

Sweet book! I like lettering larger books because you can really get into some stories. Here's another example of how you always run into peeps you know. This issue is illustrated by Sanford Greene, DWP #4 readers will remember he drew the cover for that issue. And the cover for this issue is drawn by Michael Golden who also did the Demon's Regret covers we published through the Digital Webbing line.

Small world. But Hulk big. Hulk smash!

Devil's Handshake OGN

I actually worked on this book a couple months ago for Archaia Studios and it's just now showing up in Diamond Previews. I couldn't post it here until it was made public, so here it is! It's from the same team that worked on Spooks over at Devil's Due, so it's impressive.

Crazy busy week again for me, bunch of design and a few titles. I'm on it!

Unthinkable #4

This was a tough issue because of deadline. I stayed right up with the artist and delivered lettered pages as they rolled in. Four down, one to go! Not sure which title I'll pick up to replace this since the mini-series is over.

Waiting on numbers for the 6th issue of Fist of Justice... wondering if Diamond will let it slip through or just cancel. Good news is we are offering the series on the iPhone through ComiXology's awesome Comics application. You'll be seeing all the other Digital Webbing titles show up in there along with some new stuff.
