Hero Squared: Love and Death TP

The third and final volume of Hero Squared is finished. I wish this series was going forever because it's just good stuff. Nathan Watson takes over the art chores from Joe Abraham and does a great job of it. The transition between artists is transparent. I'll miss working with JM DeMatteis, he's a great guy. Who would have thunk I'd be working with the writer for one of my favorite Spider-Man stories ever.

Farscape Strange Detractors #4

The second Farscape mini-series is complete! The third issue of D'Argo's mini is in progress and should be finished by me next week. Today I picked up a new gig with Wildstorm based on something really, really cool. Can't wait to start it, pages are suppose to roll in soon.

Gonna stay up late tonight and see if I can get a trade paperback designed and prepped for morning delivery. Wish me luck.

War of Kings: Savage World of Skaar #1

Actually finished this a little while ago. Really dug it. Skaar is like Conan but green. Conan was one of my favorites growing up. I had the comics AND all the paperbacks with their cool Frank Frazetta covers.

Next up is the final issue of Strange Detractors, a D'argo, the next Irredeemable, a new Vampirella and finally, a bunch of trades. And that's not counting the stuff I publish; BloodRayne and Fist of Justice. Crazy again.

Unthinkable #2

I think I told you this already, but I love the art on Unthinkable. I lettered this issue on the artist's grayscaled artwork, which looked awesome. Can't wait to see the coloring applied to it. This book is a good read, you should give it a shot if you haven't.

Next up on my schedule; Skaar, Irredeemable, BloodRayne, Fist of Justice, Vampirella, etc. What started out to be a slow week turned around quickly.

GeNext: United #2

Finished one of two Marvel titles due this week. If everything goes according to plan, I'll have the other finished before the weekend begins. Picked up a couple new lettering gigs. Can't wait to dive in, one is written by Larry Hama (who I lettered on Spooks).

This week is going bad for me, as each year passes, I getting worse allergies. Never had them until last year. Guess it's a sign of age.

Prototype #3

What a crazy month already! Been banging away on design, specifically Diamond ads, count 'em; 10! That's a record for me. I'm pulling late night shifts trying to finish them and I'm down to the last one.

But books are piling so I'm squeezing out what I can. Just finished Prototype #3 which was in various stages of completion. Next up are a couple Marvel projects and a page here and there of Boom! Oh yeah, BloodRayne and Fist of Justice! Gonna be a busy month!
