Blood Bowl #5

Just finished the last issue of this mini-series. Why is the end of the month always crazy busy? I still have a trade paperback and a hard cover to put together, 2 books for DC, and then there's 2 books under DW that are super late. Guess I gotta pick my battles, gonna try to finish the trade over the weekend which will leave the two DC books, then tackling BloodRayne which was suppose to come out this month. And I bet the Marvel project lands on Monday to make it really interesting. Hah!

Spooks: Omega Team #2

Finished the second issue. I have a feeling the third issue is just around the corner. I gotta start getting used to doing monthly comics since most of the stuff I work on is pretty erractic.  heh.
Next up... a trade paperback for Boom Studios.
Hey, did you see the prototype Fist of Justice action figure? If not, head over to the Digital Webbing site and click the Fist of Justice logo to see it. It's suh-weet!

Fist of Justice #3

After mucho delay, it is finished! I don't know why, but it's getting tougher and tougher finishing these Digital Webbing comics. Maybe it's because there's much more content in these things? Or maybe because I'm a perfectionist and need these books to look the best they can?

Next DW book is BloodRayne, then E-Man, all while I squeeze out the various title for Wildstorm, Marvel, Boom, and Devil's Due.

Rest #1

Just finished Rest #1. I gotta say, this book is keeping me very, very interested. I can't wait to see the next issues. This is a book I'd be buying as a consumer, no doubt about it. Art is great, coloring is super, and writing is spot-on.

Do yourself a favor and seek this out when it hits.

Warhammer: Fire & Honour #3

I'm finally using my new iMac... yeah, after what... 2 months of it sitting on the other desk? Today I spent time bringing over fonts, art, Illustrator files, ads, templates, all that good stuff. And I'm still not done. But I gotta say, I'm gonna be more productive since I won't have the rainbow cursor interrupting my workflow. 4 gigs of ram with a 3.06 GHz Core 2 Duo will make sure of that! Glad I got this new beast and my old clunker networked together, it makes it much easier to bring the files over.
Next up: Spooks!

Transit

Just finished lettering a chapter of Ted McKeever's Transit for Image/Shadowline. It was cool lettering something in a much different style than I'm used to. Wish I lettered up the whole book, but clocking in 156 pages, it would have seriously put me in a bind now that I'm getting assigned more monthly titles.

Next up: Warhammer, Spooks, BloodRayne, Fist of Justice, E-Man.

Blood Bowl #4

Blasted through Blood Bowl like I was actually playing. Okay, that sounds stupid. Hey, I'm just happy it's the weekend so I'm outta here!

Actually, looks like I'll be working the weekend, got some stuff to turn in by Monday and since I hear the weather her in Massachusetts is suppose to be crap all weekend long, it won't be so bad making a little cash.

So, it looks like we're gonna do FCBD. Got the invite today and since Imboden has been bugging me for a second printing of Fist of Justice #1, there it is! It's destined to be our FCBD book for 2009. We'll add in an extensive recap to bring new readers up to speed, and maybe even convince Mac to whip up a brand new cover... or will that be confusing? The new cover, not the recap. Lemme know!

X-Files #1

I've been chipping away at this title, basically lettering a page here and there as the art rolls in. So unlike most books, I get to read this in serialized form and I gotta tell you, the ending on this issue is a doozy.

Next up: Blood Bowl and Warhammer.

Halloween: The First Death of Laurie Strode #1

Another Halloween issue is finished. Kinda trippy how it's two Halloween related books right in a row, eh? Next up is some Blood Bowl and Warhammer with a Ted McKeever project I'm in the middle of completing.

So I'm thinking of closing up Digital Webbing Press and feeding titles through the Image line from now on. I'm just not positive what I want to do so I'll sit and think about it some more. Any thoughts?

Vampirella Quarterly: Halloween 2008

It's Labor Day and yep, I'm working. Had to finish this before I head out to a cookout. Luckily I had about half of it finished before I took it on today.

Also lettered up 5-pages for a top-secret Wildstorm book. Once the complete book is lettered and announced, I'll post it up.

Have a great Labor Day and enjoy it. Hopefully it's nice outside where you are like it is here.
